The Wind Solo was the first composite kayak in the Wind range introduced for 2007 season. Now as a renewed third generation model for 2012 we have listened to our customers and improved this very popular model even more! At the same time we have also introduced a high-density superlinear sandvich construction plastic version of this very popular model for 2012 season. Our Wind series is designed for speed. They are the fastest sea touring kayaks in the Tahe Marine line. Winds are an excellent choice for marathons, exercise trips and longer expeditions. The shallow V hull ensures fast acceleration, speed, and a nice balance between maneuverability and tracking. The Wind Solo is a good all-around kayak, suitable for a range of experience and a variety of paddling conditions. It is equipped with three hatches and spacious storage compartments for all the equipment You may need.The Wind series comes with either a skeg or rudder/ skeg combination.
